Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the oldest types of medicinal treatments known to mankind. It is stimulation of Acupuncture points to control and regulate the flow and balance of energy, or Qi (pronounced “chee”), in the body, in order to decrease pain and increase health.

Through the use of extremely thin needles, acupuncture influences the flow of qi to restore the natural balances and promote self healing.

Studies have led the National Institute of Health (NIH) to the consensus that acupuncture is an effective treatment for adult postoperative and chemotherapy nausea and vomiting, postoperative dental pain, addiction, stroke rehabilitation, headache, menstrual cramps, tennis elbow, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, osteoarthritis, low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and asthma.
